Well, Friday night was poor weather, far too windy and frequent rain so we returned home via the Chinese takeaway
Saturday was complicated as is Sunday by Kemble holding it’s annual airshow, resulting in either 0900 getaway or post 1900 getaway.
So, Sat morning went by as weather poor.
We’ve spent the day watching the live updates from others and considering forecasts. It’s looking like a rough week for Fly-UKing.
Pleasing to see some intrepid aviators have made a start although low in numbers. Glad Tom retrieved himself from a field after his EFATOs and managed today to get from N London to Bagby Yorkshire and across to Cark ! Long day Tom!
Our plan:
0900 leave Kemble and head for Weston Zoyland or Dunkeswell direct to join the blue route. North is tempting but fancy doing the SW before it gets too windy later in week. The North looks wet from Tues too so concerned we might get up there and not back down South later so we’ll go for Lands End first !
Whatever, plans will be very fluid for all with strong winds, rain, low cloud etc making it challenging flyong and nigh on impossible to make a plan that eradicates the chance of getting grounded somewhere before the week is out !
So, we’ve had another sleep in a bed, lessenned the number if days without clean clobber and eaten too much !
Update tommorrow folks.
Fly safe fellow flyers.
